A fire outbreak has struck Nungua in 2025, opposite Nungua Senior High School, leaving residents in shock.
According to eyewitness accounts, the blaze started in a two-story shop building when one of the downstairs shops suddenly caught fire. Thick smoke and flames quickly engulfed parts of the structure, drawing crowds of onlookers to the scene.
A single water tanker initially attempted to bring the fire under control before the Ghana National Fire Service arrived to fully contain the situation. Bystanders described the tense atmosphere as they watched helplessly, fearing the flames would spread further.
Authorities have yet to release an official statement on the cause of the fire. Watch the video below.
