Delay distances herself from relationship drama involving her TV show

Ghanaian media personality Deloris Frimpong Manso, popularly known as Delay, has addressed growing public attention surrounding a relationship dispute that recently came to light through her television platform.

The situation began after a guest on her show, widely known as The Delay Show, became the subject of public scrutiny following revelations about a personal relationship. As conversations around the matter intensified online, many began associating Delay directly with the drama.

In response, Delay issued a public disclaimer, making it clear that she should not be linked to the decisions or behavior of her guests. Sharing her thoughts via social media, she emphasized that while her show offers a platform for people to share their stories, she cannot be held responsible for what individuals choose to reveal—or omit.

“I create a space for dialogue and storytelling,” Delay stated. “What people choose to disclose is entirely up to them. My show doesn’t endorse or promote personal actions or choices.”

Her statement has sparked a wave of support from fans and followers who believe she handled the matter with maturity and professionalism. Many praised her for drawing a clear line between her role as a host and the private affairs of her guests.

The incident serves as a reminder of the fine line public figures often walk when providing platforms for real-life stories—especially when those stories take unexpected turns after airing.

Delay’s message was clear: while she remains committed to sharing compelling narratives, the personal lives of her guests are not a reflection of her views or values.

What are your thoughts? Should talk show hosts be held accountable for guests’ off-air conflicts? Share your opinions below.
