Ghanaian rapper Tinny has spoken openly about something he says is quite familiar—being pursued by gay men. According to him, the Tinny gay men pursuit has happened for years, and he sees it as normal, not unusual or offensive.
In a recent interview on Accra FM, Tinny said this kind of attention started long before he became famous. “Even before I had dreadlocks, men were approaching me,” he recalled. “It’s not a surprise. It’s something I’ve gotten used to.”
Although some people may expect discomfort, Tinny says he is never offended. Instead, he accepts that everyone has preferences. “I don’t get angry. People like what they like, and I respect that,” he explained.
The Tinny gay men pursuit has never influenced how he lives or presents himself. “I’ve always stayed true to who I am,” he said. “I’ve never changed how I dress or behave because of it.”
He also made it clear that he is not interested in men. Still, he believes respect is important. “You don’t have to agree with someone’s feelings to respect them,” he added.
His openness is rare in Ghana’s entertainment scene. Discussions around same-sex attraction are often avoided. Tinny’s calm tone encourages more respectful conversations and less judgment.
He ended by saying, “Everyone deserves to be themselves. Let’s respect each other and live in peace.”
