Stonebwoy to headline Golden Jubilee SWAG Awards, the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) has confirmed.
The awards ceremony will take place on November 15, 2025, as part of activities marking the 50th anniversary of SWAG. The event will recognize outstanding Ghanaian athletes and contributors to sports.
Stonebwoy, a Ghanaian musician known for his Afro-dancehall and reggae sound, will perform during the entertainment segment of the event.
The Golden Jubilee edition celebrates five decades since SWAG began recognizing sports excellence in Ghana. Each year, the association honors athletes, coaches, and administrators who excel in their respective fields.
Organizers say this year’s milestone edition aims to highlight both Ghana’s sporting achievements and the growth of the awards over time.
Stonebwoy is a multiple award-winning artist with international collaborations and recognition across Africa and beyond. His participation adds a cultural element to the event, which blends sports with entertainment.
The ceremony will bring together sports personalities, officials, and invited guests to celebrate 50 years of SWAG’s contributions to Ghanaian sports journalism and athlete recognition.
