The founder and general overseer of Word of Testimony Church, Prophet Maxwell Acheampong, who is frequently referred to as an honest Oracle of the Highest, and whose goal is to gain souls for the Lord Jesus, through the word of God, has been praised by the sensational gospel music artist Perpetual Star.
Perpetual Star is a talented gospel performer from Aburu Dunkwa in Ghana’s Central Region who received a journalism degree from the Institute of Advanced College Education (IACE). At the age of 10, she started singing in church, and today she is the music director at Word of Testimony Church after joining the church 12 years ago. She released her hit maiden single “My Testimony” last month (March 2023), which has taken the world by storm within these few days.
Perpetual Star, in an interview with BBTV, speaks, among other things, about His Father, Prophet, and Shield Prophet Maxwel Acheampong, the General Overseer of Word of Testimony Church. One of the biggest and most well-populated churches in Ghana is currently located in Accra.
To a great extent, she thanked God for giving her a great father like Prophet Maxwel Acheampong to be her spiritual father, who acts beyond a biological father to support her in her music career and to shape her well in her Christian life. She opined, “Papa God has used you as an instrument of change in my life; you have positively impacted the lives of so many with your good heart, kindness sermons, and the great tenets you provided for people, especially myself, to soar higher.
Papa, you have always stood behind me doggedly in my misfortunes, catastrophes, crunches, and disasters I have encountered in the journey of life, and you have provided spiritual, physical, financial, and emotional aid to release me from my distress.
Aside from these facts, you have single-handedly nurtured my talent since day one of my 12-year stay with you, producing and sponsoring me until I am out today with the world-famous song “My Testimony.”If it weren’t for your spiritual backing, physical efforts, emotional advice and encouragement, and financial support, my maiden single lunch would have been a disgrace and mockery. May God bless you extraordinarily for all you do for me and the kingdom of God.
A Thanksgiving Letter from Perpetual to her Father and Shield Prophet Maxwel Acheampong reads as follows:
Dear Father, I quote I Thessalonians 5:12–13, saying: “And now, friends, we ask you to honor those leaders who work so hard for you, who have been taking on the responsibility of urging and guiding you along in your obedience.” Overwhelm them with appreciation and love.
Father, your messages are full of insight, revelation, and truth. Papa, when it seemed I was far away from Jesus, you drew me back and helped me stay close and focus on him. Thank you for being tenderhearted and compassionate in the face of the grief- and joy-filled events in my life. Thank you for becoming part of me, even when it demanded that you sacrifice time and attention for your own family.Prophet Maxwel Acheampong, the prophet with the heart of gold May God bless you for more.
