MC Yaa Yeboah has shared her perspective on recent remarks made by rapper King Paluta, who suggested that some media personalities, including her, have not shown him enough appreciation for his rise in the music scene.
Speaking on The Realest Show, the popular media figure addressed the comments without malice, expressing both surprise and disappointment. According to Yaa Yeboah, she has always believed in King Paluta’s talent and has supported his journey long before his current popularity.
“I was one of the few who spoke highly of him when many didn’t pay attention,” she said. “So hearing him say no one helped him or recognized his effort felt quite unfair.”
Yaa Yeboah also made it clear that support in the creative industry is not transactional. “We don’t promote talents because we expect something back. We do it because we see potential and want to see them grow,” she added.
