Ghanaian-UK-based gospel singer Minister Martha Brako has released her much-anticipated single “My Praise” this month. The announcement came shortly after she was named UK-Based Gospel Artiste of the Year at the just-ended Modern Gospel Awards (MOGA 2025), held at the GNAT Hall in Accra.

Her win has sparked renewed excitement among her growing fan base in both Ghana and the United Kingdom, with many eagerly awaiting what promises to be one of her most heartfelt musical projects yet.

A new chapter after MOGA recognition
According to Minister Martha, the idea for “My Praise” had been in the works for some time, but her MOGA win gave her the final push to bring it to life. “This award reminded me that God’s timing is perfect,” she shared. “It has inspired me to move forward and share this message of gratitude through my songs.”

The single features a collaboration with renowned Ghanaian gospel musician Kwaku Gyasi. It carries a message of thanksgiving and divine faithfulness — a reflection of how far God has brought Martha from seasons of shame and crisis into victory.

    The voice behind the ministry
Minister Martha Brako is known for her soothing voice, powerful lyrics, and unwavering devotion to spreading the gospel through music. Beyond her solo career, she is also a gifted songwriter, composer, and backing vocalist who has contributed to several gospel projects in both Ghana and abroad.

Born to Mr. Samuel Brako and Madam Janet Oforiwaa, she hails from Kwahu in Ghana’s Eastern Region and is the eleventh of twelve children. Her passion for music began in primary school, where she sang at local events and church programs.

From Ghana to the UK and beyond
After relocating to the United Kingdom, Martha joined the Apostolic Church of Ghana, Charles Lane branch, where she continued to nurture her gift as a choir member. Her dedication and consistency in ministry have since positioned her among the most promising Ghanaian gospel voices making an impact internationally.

In addition to her recent UK-Based Gospel Artiste of the Year award, Minister Martha also holds the International Artiste of the Year title — further proof of her growing global influence in gospel music.

As anticipation builds for her latest single “My Praise,” Martha remains focused on her purpose: to touch lives through worship and remind listeners that gratitude is the foundation of faith
