Actor and commercial model Joyce Nana Ama Maanu is set to be honoured as an award recipient at the upcoming Global Achievers Awards Women’s Summit and Awards, Accra, Ghana Edition.
The event, organised by Global Achievers Awards in collaboration with Sterlinglomo Media and Films, is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) Hall in Accra. The programme is expected to begin at 12 noon.
The summit and awards event is centred on the recognition of women whose work, creativity and contributions reflect innovation and purpose.
Joyce Nana Ama Maanu among women to be recognised
Maanu, who is identified as an actor and commercial model, has been named among the recipients being recognised at the event.
Her recognition forms part of the organisers’ broader 100 Outstanding Innovative Women initiative, which seeks to spotlight women across different fields and acknowledge their contributions.
For Maanu, the award provides another platform for her work in the creative and modelling space to receive recognition alongside other women being celebrated at the Accra edition.
A summit built around purpose
The theme for the event is “Walking in Purpose,” placing emphasis on purpose, achievement and the journeys of women making their mark in their respective fields.

What to expect at the Accra edition
The event will take place at the GNAT Hall, opposite the Ministry of Information, Accra, Ghana, with proceedings scheduled to start at noon.
The programme brings together the awards presentation, women’s summit activities and recognition of the 100 women selected under the Outstanding Innovative Women initiative.
