Shatta Wale hits back at MOG beatz over payment claims

Shatta Wale posting on X denying the allegations and citing support for M.O.G Beatz’s family.
Shatta Wale is a Ghanaian Dancehall artiste

Dancehall star Shatta Wale has fired back in his dispute with producer M.O.G Beatz, accusing him of forgetting the favors extended over the years. In a bold message on X, he reminded M.O.G that he supported him financially—covering his mother’s medical bills and even funding studio gear. He argued that those contributions were part of their agreement, not charity.

Shatta Wale’s words came just after M.O.G Beatz had escalated the feud by taking down two of his albums—Reign and Wondaboy—from Apple Music. The producer had claimed Shatta Wale ignored producers by removing their credits and cutting them off royalties.

Shatta Wale didn’t hold back. He wrote on X:

“When I was paying for your mother’s eyes problems, medical bills, giving you money to buy studio equipment as payment for the productions, that was scam right? No problem! Ungrateful pig. Very foolish boy.

M.O.G Beatz, however, dismissed Shatta Wale’s claims. He said the allegations—about paying bills and buying equipment—were false. According to him, “No bills, no beats, no equipment were ever paid for. If you had proof, your albums wouldn’t be deleted.

The back-and-forth highlights tensions around recognition, ownership, and creative contributions in Ghana’s music scene. At the center are emotional fallout and public accountability. It’s one thing to disagree. It’s another when personal histories surface in public spats.

So far, neither side has released official documents or evidence to support their claims. Fans and industry voices are now watching closely, waiting to see which side will provide proof—and who might ultimately rebuild trust or settle the dispute.

When I was paying for your mother’s eyes problems ,medical bills ,giving you money to buy studio equipments as payment for the productions ,that was scam right . No problem!!!!! It’s people like you that don’t make artiste wanna even help some of these upcoming producers like you… https://t.co/wrKgmI4035
