The celebrated actress turned 80 years old while also marking 60 years of outstanding contributions to the Ghanaian entertainment industry. The grand event, held at The Underbridge in East Legon, Accra, was a testament to her profound influence on Ghana’s film and television landscape.
Unforgettable Maame Dokono
Adding to the significance of the occasion, Grace Omaboe launched her memoir. Titled Unforgettable Maame Dokono, which offers an intimate look into her distinguished career and personal life. The event drew numerous Ghanaian music stars, movie actors, and media personalities. Many of whom have shared the screen with her, particularly during her iconic run on the beloved television show Obra. The show, celebrated during the event, remains one of Ghana’s most popular and long-running TV series, captivating viewers for over two decades.
