The United States Africa Command (AFRICOM) transported the defense consignment via a US Air Force C-17 aircraft to Nigerian Air Force bases in Lagos and Kainji, Niger State. Officials confirmed that the supply was executed under a Foreign Military Sales agreement to support Nigerian-led security operations.
AFRICOM emphasized that American military assistance remains rooted in full respect for Nigerian sovereignty and comes at the explicit invitation of the host government.
