The Prestigious Modern Gospel Music Awards opens Nominations for all Gospel Music Artists in Ghana and Beyond
Gospel Musical Artists in Ghana and beyond are excited by the open announcement of the 3rd edition of the Modern Gospel Music Awards with the commencement of nominations opened to the general public – Opening of Nominations:1st April 2023 | Closing of Nominations: 1st May 2023 32 Categories to be awarded.
What this means to the gospel music industry both locally and internationally is that everyone with the right music that fits the specified categories can fill for nominations for award consideration.
The Modern Gospel Music Awards is an award scheme that projects, recognizes, and celebrates the works and achievements of Gospel Music Artists who have dedicated their voice to impacting society positively and embedding Christian values into the lives of people, at home and abroad.
This year’s nomination categories opened to the general public; a new space has been added named: The Cross-Breed Category. This category is best for songs that may not be specifically gospel music but has its lyrics enshrined with words of great motivation and inspiration with no trace of profanity or foul language.
The Modern Gospel Music Awards which saw its maiden edition in 2021 has been of great influence on the growth and celebration of Gospel Music Artiste in Ghana and beyond and has seen massive growth over the years.
Among many notable names awarded by the scheme includes Legendary artists such as Mama Helena Rhabbles, Elder Sam Cooper, Noble Nketsiah, Nana Yaw Asare, Prof Kofi Abraham, and other great personalities in Media, Arts, and Gospel Outreach.
Other names that have passed through the event are Kofi Adoma Nwanwani (CEO OF KOFI TV) & Mrs. Starcy Amoateng (Host of Restoration Tv Show).
