Gospel musician Brother Ishmael has added another major achievement to his growing career after being named Male Vocalist of the Year – USA at the 2026 Ghana Music Awards USA in New Jersey.
The Ghanaian artiste, born Ishmael Mintah, beat a competitive list of nominees to claim the award, emerging ahead of Rev. Graceman, Daniel Nii Nertey, James K. Owusu, HTsongz, Muzic Mensah and Saucelord.
The honour comes as recognition of Brother Ishmael’s work in gospel music and his ability to use his songs as vehicles for worship, evangelism and personal storytelling.
