Alexander Isak has openly accused Newcastle United of breaking his trust. The striker says the club failed to honor promises made to him, leaving him frustrated about his future.

The striker is reported to have expected a new contract worth about £300,000 per week. Negotiations stalled after changes in Newcastle’s management. During the summer, Isak even trained with former club Real Sociedad instead of joining Newcastle for preseason.
Newcastle officials, however, deny breaking any promises. They insist no binding agreement was made with Isak and maintain that he is a key part of their project. The club has already rejected a £110 million bid from Liverpool, insisting they value him at closer to £150 million.
